    Computer lab in Bryant Library

    About the Library

Bryant’s library houses over 12,000 books to tantalize our students and support our curriculum. Our picture books will captivate any reader; our fiction is hard to put down; and our non-fiction will inspire the next generation of movers and shakers. Additionally, using one of our 14 student computers, patrons may access our district’s vast electronic resources, such as World Book Online and Tumble Books. As well as aiming to inspire a passion for life-long reading and thinking, through our curriculum, students learn information literacy. Lessons are planned with sensitivity to age, interests, and topics which parallel classroom content and the Common Core Curriculum.

For the 2014-15 school year, all classes will visit the library WEEKLY. Additionally, second graders may spend lunch recess in the library on Mondays, third graders on Tuesdays at lunch recess. Fourth and fifth graders may visit for lunch recess on Wednesdays and Thursdays. On occasion, the library will be closed due to meetings or other scheduled events, such as author visits or the Global Reading Challenge.
